We know that 62 ballplayers are at the Tampa Bay Rays Spring Training. What we don't know is who else is there in Port Charlotte at the minor league training camp. Update 1: Although I'm not absolutely certain, I think it will be safe to change Chris Richard and Joe Dillon to "retired".
Update 2: In the very large category of "things I don't know about baseball", it turns out that minor leaguers without invites to Spring Training are not yet in camp. Omar Luna is expected to be there.

Well, Richard is going to be at Bulls' Fanfest next weekend, so presumably he's with the team in some capacity.
ReplyDeleteWell, if he's to be at the fanfest, then he's not in any kind of spring training. So I'll probably update this a "retired". On the other hand, must mean that he's got some kind of relationship with the Bulls if not with the Rays. Probably a good thing for him.
ReplyDeleteI see Alvin Colina has signed with the Lancaster Barnstormers in the Atlantic League. They don't seem to be affiliated with any major league team. I hope he does well.
